HIA Australian Custom Built Home of the year
This stunning pavilion style home, hand built from raw materials, the internal zoning and attention-to-detail is a stand out winner.
The choice of natural materials, particularly the recycled timber; the warm and livable ambience as well as the environmentally sustainable features, including its orientation, uses of clear and opaque glass as well as louvres, gives it ventilation and abundance of natural light.

Restorations & Additions (Residential)
A stately federation home in Clarke Street, Bowral. This project respected heritage principles in the return of the original Federation home to an earlier grand state, and made sympathetic rear and second floor additions, despite the house not being a heritage item or within a heritage conservation area.
The house has undergone numerous additions over the years and whilst the house was no heritage listed, judges deemed the project a worthy winner due to the owner and consultant’s attention to detail and adherence to the heritage principles.
